He was nicknamed The Mongolian Tiger.
33rd Soke of the Togakure Ryu, he followed the teachings of two grand masters : Ishitani and Toda.
He was the teacher of Masaaki Hatsumi for 15 years.. He decided to transmit the responsibliity of transmitting ninjutsu and made him the 34th Soke of theTogakure Ryu. .
